Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-08-22.

The service

Structured Web (“we”, “us”) fetches a public web page you name, extracts data from it into a JSON Schema you supply, validates the result against that schema, and returns it. You (“you”) pay per URL at the rate published on our pricing page. We are an independent Ounie product.

Billing

Runs are billed in Ounie credits (4 credits per URL, one credit = one cent), drawn from your shared Ounie wallet. A run reserves credits for every URL it was given and settles only the URLs that produced a billable result. Under strict mode that means a result validated against your schema; with strict off, any URL that produced data. A URL that could not be read is never charged. Unused reserves are returned automatically at the end of the run.

The keyless x402 rail settles in USDC on Base per call. Payment is verified before the extraction runs and settled only when the result is billable. Because on-chain settlements are final, a settled x402 payment is not refundable.

Credits are purchased on ounie.com and governed by the Ounie terms. We do not process payments here.

What you may send us

Only URLs you are permitted to fetch. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service, robots directives, and applicable law of the sites you point us at, and for any rights in the data you extract. We do not bypass paywalls, authentication, or anti-bot measures, and you may not use this service to attempt it.

Do not use the service to collect personal data unlawfully, to build a dataset for re-identifying individuals, or in any way that would violate a site's contractual terms.

What we don't promise

Extraction quality depends on what the page actually says. We guarantee that a result marked valid satisfied the schema you sent — and that a result which did not is not charged under strict mode. We do not guarantee that a page contains the facts you were hoping for, that a value on the page is itself correct, or that a site will remain reachable. The service is provided as-is, without warranty.

Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the credits you spent on the runs at issue.

Your data and ours

Extracted objects belong to you. We keep your run history so you can re-read it and so we can answer billing questions; see the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is abusing the service, and will say why.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it. Questions: contact us.
